Complaint Regarding: Pampa services
When KSRTC first started PAMPA bus from tvm depot it operated through PUNALUR
In eighties there was special service to pampa from tvm through punalur.Then R Balakrishna Pillai becomes transport minister and Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan ADOOR MLA,all buses were routed through KTR-ADR. Now there is only one regular service from TVM THROUGH Punalur.
THE distance from TVM to Mylapra through Punalur is 109 and tvm to mylapra through ADR is 114. WHY bus only through Kottarakkara Adoor?
From Kottayam there is Pampa bus through PTA via and ERUMELY . The reason is obvious. There is a Kottarakkara lobby in ksrtc. They are not interested to start new buses from other depot particularly Kollam and Punalur and Pathanamthitta.
Just see the condition of ksrtc kottarakkara depot, 4 superfast buses to coimbatore, One Deluxe bus to Bangalore, super fast buses to Mookambika, Palani, Kanyakumari, Kozhikode one each besides 24 hrs pampa bus service.
From kollam no buses to these places and no 24 hrs pampa service. kollam is one of the five corporation in kerala. Is kollam corporation is smaller than kottarakkara panchayath? Is population in kollam is less than kottarakkara?
Ayyappa devotees from PLR and around places go to pta for travel to pampa, kollam and around go to kottarakkara they are cattle classes. Ayyappa devotees from Kottarakkara not willing to go to pta because they are elite class. So there is buses from ktr in addition to buses from tvm.
Superfast buses had fair stage in valakom and three stops in valakom (mercy hospital,valakom,mlajn). But no stops at venharamoodu, gokulam and medical college . A traveler from tvm to VNJD to be paid kilimanoor ticket charge. The only reason is valakom is balakrishnapilla\'s birthplace. Alappuzha municipality only have population greater than kottarakkara assembly constituency. Then why not start pampa bus from Alappuzha.
