why PRIVATE BUS IS BETTER THAN KSRTC.
EX: STUDENT PASS , OOCC(free pass) TO POLICE , EVEN A PRIVATE BUS OPERATES IF THERE DAILY COLLECTION IS AROUND 5000/- BECAUSE I HAVE A BUS AND I GET A COLLECTION OF AROUND 5500 DAILY BUT I AM MANAGING WITH THE SAME AND I PAY 33300 AS TAX EVRY THREE MONTHS TO THE GOVT AND THAT MONEY COMES TO THE PUBLIC , BUT KSRTC DOES NOT PAY ANY TAX STILL THEY HAVE LOSS , THERE ARE AROUND 6200 KSRTC BUS AND 12000 PRIVATE BUS , KSRTC GIVES A LOSS OF 321 CR EVERY YEAR BUT PRIVATE BUS GIVES 159 CR PROFIT TO GOVT ONLY AS TAX (APROXIMATE) IF SOME ONE HAVE A DOUBT I CAN SCAN AND POST MY COLLECTION SHEET AND PROFF STILL I AM RUNNING BUS ON PROFIT , EVEN MY EMPLOYEES ARE SACTISFIED.

I do not no how far you know about this industry , there were KSRTC bus in kerala which did not have insurance and ksrtc have huge liability on paying compensations to the public due to the accident

Though I am fan of KSRTC. I shall say that the coach looks good. Great!

I had to go to KSRTC office at PATHANAMTHITTA several times to get a concession card when I was studying at IHRD College of Engneering, Chengannur, and only after 2 years of struggle I got it. The reason the official said was, my college was not listed there as a Govt. College in there list. But such a listing was not even known to officials at many other depots in PTA district. During these 2 years, just on the basis of my college uniform, concession was granted to me by the few private buses that operated in this route, and who operated on small profits, since KSRTC buses operate more in this route. I don't know why in-spite of all these students federations are always against private buses. But one thing private bus owners have to take care, is about the education of employees and their behavior to passengers. Actually, there are few uncultured employees on private buses, who barks against students and women, which raise a negative impression against private buses.From time when I was taking concession, I had though that, the concession rate of 25% is such a too small rate for student. Its almost time to change concession rates to 50% as they say.
