Veegaland is a popular amusement park in Kerala. The park is situated on the top of a hill at Pallikara, 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) from the city of Kochi. Kerala State Road Transport Corporation is running a Super Express bus from Thiruvananthapuram to Veega Land by connecting Kollam, Kayamkulam, Alappuzha, Cherthala and Ernakulam.

Is this bus doing any cut-trip between 9:45 and 18:00? Does this take Vytila byepass or enetrs the city en route?
Jyothish, Not sure about the cut trips. It will come to the Ernakulam bus station and goes via Kakkanad to veegaland.
good that it doesnot touch EKM bus stand, but if it goes via Palarivattom, then collection can be increased…
It depends Jithin – on how many passengers boarding before EKM and are there till Veegaland / or beyond EKM… Anyway they can slightly move the timing from TVM up by a half an hour if they dont touch EKM Bus station…
This is definitely not a service that KSRTC should run at its present state. Or they should do it as a TVM-MVPA-KMGM or MVPA-TDPA via Veegaland (if they are not doing any cut trips in between)…

Yesterday arount 3:40 PM I have seen this bus at CLDY , in Vazhachal – Athirappally – CLDY – ANK – Thiruvyranikkulam – Veegaland…
So it does a cut trip from Veega Land to Vazhachal and back.
Absolute waste service – May be KSRTC should stop this, or run it as an FP or LS/FP instead of wasting a Super Express in such a low low profile route.
There is not connectivity issue to Veega Land from EKM… there are many KSRTC and Private buses via Kizhakkambalam-Veegaland in the EKM MVPA route…
What about the TVM-Veega-Athirapally-Vazhachal bus?
That bus is not running regularly now.

There are altogetehr four buses – two with EKM and two with TVM. TVM also use it for CBE Service.

veegaland has good connectivity. ksrtc & private buses starts from kaloor to muvattupuzha or perumbavoor are through kizhakkambalam-veegaland rotue. this express bus can be used as alappuzha-ernakulam-muvattupuzha-munnar express service. what say?
This service helps a lot of people from Alappuzha and West Kochi bcoz they can reach veegaland without taking 2-3 buses. Can you give the time at which the bus reaches Thoppumpady?
