KSRTC started Vyttilla Vyttila Circular service with two
Volvo AC buses in Kochi from today onwards.
The two Volvo buses with a frequency of 45 minutes will do the circular service from Vyttila to Vyttila. One bus will be running in the route Kadavanthra, Jetty, Menaka, Kaloor, Palarivattom and Chakkarapparambu (Byepass) to reach Vyttilla. While the other bus will be running in the anticlockwise direction.
Fare
Vyttilla – Palarivattom: Rs-10
Vyttilla – Kaloor: Rs-14
Palarivattom – Kaloor: Rs-10
Anyway let’s hope that these Volvo buses would meet the demands of all those who love a luxury travel in this route.
Atleast it will give assurance of our life…

I hope this service become a great sucess.
But how many people know this? Every time while introduce a new service KSRTC have no public relation attitude. As a city which is visited by thousands of people from other districts our government have to publish these kind of new ventures in all the newspapers, in all editions. Vyttilla is the No 1 traffic handling junction of kerala. If private vehicle passengers who come for shopping from Kottayam & alleppy are aware of this volvo ac service, a 50% of them will park their vehicle somewhere at vyttilla and board this. Because many people dislike city traffic.
Again if I was not a KSRTC blog reader……I will never came to know about this……

അവശ്യ സര്വീസുകളുടെയും കോലം മാറേണ്ട സമയം എന്നേ കഴിഞ്ഞു.
നഷ്ടത്തിലാണെങ്കിലും ചില ഗുണകരമായ മാറ്റങ്ങള് നമ്മുടെ വെള്ളനയും കാണിച്ചു തുടങ്ങി എന്ന് തോന്നുന്നു, ഇല്ലേ?
Hi Arun, It was a sudden decision taken by the Minister and the KSRTC authorities had to cancel some other Volvo schedules on that day to start this service. So they couldn’t get a chance to give much publicity for these services. Some of the newspapers reported the same on that day.
frequency should be reduced to 15 min and give break of 15 min for buses towards both direrctions in vytillla.
then passsengers can easily identify the bus …………
Anson, hope they will introduce more buses in that route. All of that will depend upon the collection of these buses in that particular route.
frequency should be 10-15 mins. very good service with decent staff
Aluva – Angamaly – Perumbavoor – Aluva JnNURMnonA/C circular service will be better.
There is no connecting bus betweem Ankamaly and Aluva-Perumbavoor route.
Any plan to start Kottayam-Ernakulam A/C service?
