KSRTC Super Fast Buses To Kozhikkode Via Chamravattom Bridge Makes Profit. News from Malayala Manorama.
ചമ്രവട്ടം വഴിയുള്ള കെഎസ്ആര്ടിസി സര്വീസുകള് ലാഭത്തിലേക്ക്. സര്വീസുകള് മൂന്നുദിവസം പിന്നിട്ടപ്പോള് കലക്ഷന് തുക ആദ്യദിനത്തെ അപേക്ഷിച്ച് ഇരട്ടിയിലധികം വര്ധിച്ചു. പൊന്നാനി ഡിപ്പോയില്നിന്ന് രണ്ട് സൂപ്പര് ഫാസ്റ്റുകളാണ് എറണാകുളം-കോഴിക്കോട് റൂട്ടില് സര്വീസ് നടത്തുന്നത്. എറണാകുളം സൂപ്പര് ഫാസ്റ്റിന് 14,776 രൂപയാണ് ഒരുദിവസത്തെ കലക്ഷനായി ലഭിച്ചത്. കോഴിക്കോട് റൂട്ടിലാണെങ്കില് 7,255 രൂപ കലക്ഷന് വരുന്നുണ്ട്.
പൊന്നാനി-തിരൂര് റൂട്ടില് ഇന്നലെ ഒരു ഓര്ഡിനറി ബസ് സര്വീസ് നടത്തി. ഇന്നുമുതല് മറ്റൊരു ഓര്ഡിനറികൂടി ഇതേ റൂട്ടില് സര്വീസ് നടത്തും. ഗുരുവായൂര് ഡിപ്പോയില്നിന്ന് അഞ്ച് സൂപ്പര് ഫാസ്റ്റുകളും ഒരു ടൌണ് ടു ടൌണ് സര്വീസുമാണുള്ളത്. സൂപ്പര് ഫാസ്റ്റിന് 15,541 രൂപവരെ ഒരുദിവസത്തെ കലക്ഷന് ലഭിച്ചു. ഈ റൂട്ടില് ദിവസവും യാത്രക്കാരുടെ എണ്ണം വര്ധിച്ചുവരികയാണ്. കോഴിക്കോട് ഡിപ്പോയില്നിന്ന് രണ്ട് സൂപ്പര് ഫാസ്റ്റ് ബസുകളാണ് സര്വീസ് നടത്തുന്നത്. 10,000 രൂപവരെ കലക്ഷന് ലഭിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്.
താമരശ്ശേരി ഡിപ്പോയില്നിന്ന് ആറ് ടൌണ് ടു ടൌണ് ബസുകള് സര്വീസ് നടത്തുന്നുണ്ട്. 11,200 രൂപവരെ കലക്ഷന് ലഭിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. തുടക്കത്തില് 8,200 രൂപ ലഭിച്ചിരുന്നതാണ് ഇത്രയും വര്ധിച്ചത്. തിരുവമ്പാടി ഡിപ്പോയില്നിന്ന് ഒരു ഫാസ്റ്റാണ് ഉള്ളത്. ഇതിന് 10,000 രൂപ കലക്ഷനുണ്ട്. ആകെ 16 സര്വീസുകളാണ് വിവിധ ഡിപ്പോകളില്നിന്നായി ചമ്രവട്ടം വഴി കടന്നുപോകുന്നത്.
then why dont they operate the complete buses declared till nw? Only 2 ordinaries out of 12 has been started.. 5 SF and 7 TTs yet to start… Why they r delaying? Can anyone give confirmation?
KSRTC will introduce all the proposed buses in a phased manner. There is no point in starting all the services at once with out knowing the patronage and traffic blocks etc.

Tirur ponnani, ponnani purathoor, purathoor edappal , parappangadi ponnani, malappuram ponnani ordinary servicesum thudanganam….sure KSRTC is going to make huge profit from this route…….private buses please stay away………….

KSRTC Thiruvambady(തിരുവമ്പാടി-TDY) Operating Centre was started on 28/02/2011. Thiruvambady is one of the main town in Kozhikode District which is situated 35 km away from Kozhikode, 15 km from Thamarassery, 60 km from Perinthalmanna, 50 km from Nilambur, 53 km from Kalpetta and 5 km from Mukkam. The telephone no of Thiruvamby KSRTC Operating Centre is 0495 2254500. Now Thiruvambady has more than 30 shedules and 70 services. he main bus services are to Calicut, Thamarassery, Mukkam and Anakkampoyil(frequently b/w 20 minutes). The main and long route KSRTC bus timings from Thiruvmbady are:
1.Kozhikode Railway Station (Ordinary) – 4.20 am [Omassery, Mukkam, NIT, Kunnamangalam, Medical College].
2.Kattappana (SF) – 4.50 am [Mukkam, Perinthalmanna, Thrissur, Angamaly, Muvattupuzha, Pala, Erattupetta].
3.Eranakulam (SF) – 6.00 am [Mukkam, Kozhikode, Tirur, Chamravattam Bridge, Ponnani, Guruvayur, Kodungalloor].
4.Moolamattom (FP) – 6.20 am [Mukkam, Manjeri, Perinthalmanna, Shornur, Thrissur, Angamaly, Muvattupuzha, Thodupuzha].

Future Plans:
* Upgradation to KSRTC Sub Depot.

* Starting Malabar TT service to Kozhikode and Perinthalmanna.
* Starting night services to Kozhikode.
KSRTC should dominate this this route and do not allow private buses in this route as they are good for nothing ,just money grabbers.

Is there any plan to start more TT’s connecting MJI, PMNA from TDY?
At least half the number of SFs from EKM -KKD must start from Vytila Terminal. This will help KSRTC to get passegers more. Or start service from EKM B/s and route thru South-Vytila Hub-Edappalii-GVR-KKD. The time taken for this route will be less than the time thru EKM Town. Also, KSRTC will get more passengers from Vytila..
