The Kerala State Road Transport Corporation is has introduced four new non-AC Low Floor bus services from Vellarada to Thiruvananthapuram.
Two buses will be running to Thiruvananthapuram via Dhanuvachapuram, Neyyattinkara while the remaining two will take the route Chembur, Kattakkata.

The fare between Vellarada and Thiruvananthapuram would be Rs-32 and the minimum charge is fixed at Rs-5.
40 new low floor buses are introduced in the city last week. These buses are getting high response from the public now. Especially the buses running from Kochuveli railway station, Airport, Attingal and Venjarammodu.
KSRTC has also started a low floor bus service from Thiruvananthapuram railway station to ferry passengers coming in Jan shatabdi express. A low-floor AC bus operated by the KSRTC parked on the railway stationpremises will ply the passengers who would arrive by Jan Shatabdi at 8.50 pm to various points in the city from Thursday.
