Kannur International Airport invites application from Indian Nationals who are eligible for appointment to the following vacant posts on contract in Fire Services:
Details of Vacancies:
1. Senior Manager (1 nos)
Qualifications : Full time Bachelors’ Degree in Automobile /Mechanical/Fire Engineering from any UGC recognized university/Institute OR Successful completion of Divisional Fire Officers course from National Fire Services College; Nagpur
2. Manager /Asst. Manager (2 nos)
Qualifications : Full time Bachelors’ Degree in Automobile / Mechanical/Fire Engineering.
3. Supervisor (5 nos)
Qualifications : 10th pass + 3 years approved regular diploma in Mechanical/ Automobile/ Fire/ Electrical/ Electronics with minimum 50 % marks OR 12th pass (regular study) with 50% marks.
4. Fire and Rescue Operators (40 nos)
Qualifications : 10th Pass + 3 years Govt. approved regular Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile/ Fire/Electrical/Electronics with minimum 50% marks. OR 12th pass (regular study) with 50% marks.
For Senior Manager and Supervisor 10 years of experience is required. For Manager and assistant Manager 5 years of experience is required.
Salary:
- Senior Manager: 50000 per month
- Manager: 40000 per month
- Asst. Manager: 35000 per month
- Supervisor: 30000 per month
- Fire and Rescue Operators: 17500 per month
For post of Fire and Rescue Operator : Higher remuneration will be considered for candidates with higher qualification, experience or successful completion of Basic Fire Service Training Course at Fire Training Centre, AAI, New Delhi/ Kolkata or equivalent organizations /institutes.

Selection process will be based on Interview/Written test, Skill test, Physical test and Interview as notified below for each category.

How to Apply:
Applications will be accepted through online only. Applications received in any other means will be summarily rejected except for evictee category, who have to apply online as well as submit/send a hard copy with a self-attested copy of the related LAC (Land Acquisition Certificate). Candidates have to upload scanned copy of their recent passport size photograph of maximum size 50 KB in jpg format. The same photograph should be affixed on the Admit Card, if called for the next stage of selection process. The application must be submitted online on or before 5.00 pm (IST) on 7 September 2016. Late applications will be summarily rejected. Candidates are advised to submit applications sufficiently early to avoid last minute rush.
