Kerala RTC is finally going to introduce 12 new Volvo Multi Axle AC Buses on their fleet from this coming month onwards. Each bus would cost almost a crore will be used for Bangalore services from Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Palakkad and Kozhikode.

These buses will definitely give some scary days to the private fleet owners who operate such buses in Bangalore sector from various cities in Kerala by charging extremely high fares from Passengers. Each and every private Volvo bus operators are having a well maintained and efficient online reservation portal in which a passenger can easily reserve a ticket. They do also tie-up with most popular bus ticket booking portals like redbus, makemytrip, goibibo etc. Even our neighboring state Karnataka RTC is also selling their bus tickets through such websites.

7 out of 12 new Volvo buses are ready to deliver at Volvo’s plant in Hosakote, Bangalore and Team KSRTC Blog has recently leaked out the pictures of those buses to our readers.

Unfortunately, Rear side of these buses are having an online reservation portal’s address and some phone numbers written on it. And the phone numbers given were used in the present Thiruvananthapuram – Bangalore service and I really don’t know how they will manage the same number in all the new services? They also has given a website address “http://www.keralartconline.com/” which is not functioning at the moment. It seems to be like, they have not yet renewed the domain of the website and it shows how irresponsible is this computer section people in KSRTC are. ๐Ÿ˜› ๐Ÿ˜›
