Even after entering into an agreement with Karnataka government to run extra services during the time of Onam, Kerala government’s lackadaisical approach has put once again the Malayalee passengers life in peril.
Mathrubhumi News earlier reported that the private bus agencies are fleecing passengers taking high amount during this time of Onam. But if the agreement had become materialised, then KSRTC and Karnataka transport could have made to run more buses in the inter-state routes. This would have brought a big relief to the travelling woes of the inter-state travellers, but the deliberate negligence of the authorities, as usual, allows the private bus operators to fleece the passengers.
