Kerala high court has revoked the stay on KSRTC’s tender procedures to buy new buses. The court had stayed the tender proceedings after Bus company Ashok Leyland moved the court pleading that the company was not considered while tender was being called.

KSRTC’s policy for years had been to buy Leyland and Tata bses in the ratio 2:1. But this time, the company was totally neglected when KSRTC decided to buy 1790 buses.

After revoking the stay, the court instructed the KSRTC to rope in Ashok Leyland also in the purchase deal.
