Traffic will be regulated in the city from 6 a.m. to 2 p. m. on Thursday in connection with the counting of votes of the Assembly polls.

The counting of votes for all the 13 Assembly polls will be held at the JDT Islam Complex at Vellimadukunnu.

All vehicles except, two-wheelers coming from Thamarassery side, should deviate from Karanthur and take the route via Medical College and Thondayad to reach the city.

Vehicles including KSRTC buses proceeding from the city to Thamarassery side should deviate from Malaparamba junction and proceed along the Cheverambalam- Chevayur junction- Medical College- Karathur route.

All city buses proceeding to Vellimadukunnu, Chelavoor and Moozhikkal should halt at NGO Quarters junction.

Similarly vehicles should drop students appearing for the entrance examination in front of the centre and park the vehicles at Iringadanpally Road.

Candidates and their agents should reach the counting centres with their pass issued by the Election Commission of India.

Vehicles transporting them should drop them at main gate and park the vehicles on the western side at the JDT Islam ground.

Vehicles coming from the city, but do not have passes from the election commission should park on one side of NGO- Armed Camp.

Vehicles from Kunnamangalam- Thamarassery side can park the vehicles at the Law College ground and Iringadanpally Road.
