Heavy rain and strong winds caused widespread damage to property in Trivandrum on Friday. A tree fell on a KSRTC bus at Arasumoodu, near Kazhakuttam, that was parked due to breakdown.
Several parts of the city, including Vattiyurkavu, Karamana, East Fort, and Kaithamukku, witnessed traffic disruptions after trees fell on the road. Fire and Rescue Services personnel had to be on their toes as trees were uprooted at many places.
